The CompanyAbamas is a personal company (Norwegian: Enkeltmannsforetak) used by Thomas Høven. A registered company is required in Norway to invoice services if you are not an employee. Marine utility connections including utility connections in port is used to provide electric power to ships. The ship can use this power for utility and hotel loads instead of running it's own diesel generators. Electric and hybrid (often combustion engine and electric driven propellers) driven ships can also use this power to charge batteries. Abamas does not mean anyting. The name was selected on four criteria:1. The .com domain had to be avaiable. 2. It should be easy to say in many languages. 3. It should list early in the alphabet. 4. It should be as short as possible (to my knowledge, no .com domains with less than 6 characters are available.)
